You're not the babies that your teachers are going to go easy on but you're not a junior or a senior that your teachers are going to prioritize either. Okay, unless you live outside of the states chances are you're going to have to take the PSAT in 10th grade.
You're a bit of an outlier but you can use this time to prepare yourself for your last two years of school. Don't worry, you don't have to study for it and it virtually doesn't count for anything.
Of course, if you don't make it it's not the end of the world. Hopefully nothing dramatic will happen but there's often a bit of a shake up in sophomore year and beyond within your friend group. So take this as the prime time to get your parents to trust you as much as possible so that they don't restrict your freedom as you progress through high school.
